Erdoğan Conveys Condolences To German President For Plane Crash

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called German President Joachim Gauck to express his condolences following the crash of a Germanwings plane in which 150 people were killed.Sources from the presidency told the media that Erdoğan expressed his sorrow over the tragic incident, which rattled Europe with the revelation that the co-pilot deliberately crashed the plane into the French Alps."Erdoğan conveyed his condolences and those of the Turkish people to Germany and to the families of those lost on the flight," sources said.All 150 people on board Germanwings flight 4U9525 died after 27-year-old first officer Andreas Lubitz locked the cockpit door, took control of the Airbus A320 and took the plane down from its cruising altitude at 3,000 feet per minute.
