President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a message on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. In his message, Erdoğan stated that he greets the nation with heartfelt feelings, respect, and affection, and sincerely congratulated the blessed Eid al-Adha, saying, "All praise and thanks be to Allah, who has allowed us to reach another holiday."

REACTION TO CHP'S DECISION NOT TO CELEBRATE EID

Speaking about CHP's decision not to celebrate Eid, Erdoğan said, "As 86 million, I would like to express our sadness over the main opposition party becoming one that does not celebrate Eid with anyone during a period when we strengthen our eternal brotherhood and internal front. Our hope is that the insistence on wrongdoings ends as soon as possible and that all colors of Turkey can come together, especially during holidays. Because, as we say on the billboards that adorn every corner of our country, 'Our name is brotherhood, our surname is Turkey,'” he said.

"I WISH THESE HOLY DAYS BRING GOODNESS"

Erdoğan stated, "I wish these sacred and blessed days to be a source of goodness for our country, our nation, the Islamic world, and all humanity. I pray to my Lord that the sacrifices you have made, the prayers you have offered, and the worship you have performed are accepted, pure, and approved in the sight of Allah. May the Almighty Allah grant us to reach many more holidays in health, peace, and well-being, where we will comprehend with a sound heart. Holidays, where we renew our spirit of unity and solidarity and strengthen our bonds of brotherhood, are also doors of abundance opened to divine pleasure. The holiday atmosphere that we, as a nation, collectively breathe is a fertile atmosphere where our feelings of cooperation and affection are at their highest level. I wholeheartedly believe that each of our 86 million citizens will make good use of this atmosphere and beautify it with charitable activities," he expressed.

HE REMEMBERED THE MARTYRED GAZANS WITH MERCY

Expressing that he greets the Palestinians who have shown dignified resistance against all the barbarities of Israel, which is waging an epic struggle in Gaza and the occupied territories, Erdoğan commemorated the Gazans who were martyred in the attacks with mercy and wished urgent healing for the injured. Erdoğan wished for the ongoing instabilities in different corners of the heart geography, especially in Gaza, Sudan, and Somalia, to end as soon as possible.

"WE BELIEVE SYRIA WILL ATTAIN PERMANENT PEACE"

Stating that they have shown every effort to stop the genocide in Palestine and to conclude the war between Russia and Ukraine with a just peace, Erdoğan said, "The meeting held in Istanbul on June 2nd has been a historic step towards ending the bloody war in our north, which has entered its 4th year. We appreciate the efforts of the new administration in neighboring Syria for the national unity, territorial integrity, and sustainable development of the country. With the support of all brother countries in the region, we believe that Syria will attain permanent peace and return to its former glorious days," he stated.

"WE ARE FIGHTING AGAINST PROBLEMS THAT LOWER OUR CITIZENS' LIVING STANDARDS"

Erdoğan stated that they are resolutely implementing economic policies to minimize the impact of fluctuations in global markets on Turkey, saying, "We see the positive effects of the macroeconomic stability and reform program in many areas, especially inflation. Our struggle continues against all kinds of problems that lower our citizens' living standards, especially the cost of living," he said.

"WE QUICKLY HEALED THE WOUNDS LEFT BY THE DISASTER OF THE CENTURY"

Emphasizing that they quickly healed the wounds left by the disaster of the century, Erdoğan said, "We have delivered the keys of 201,000 houses to the rightful disaster victims. With an additional 252,000 structures, we will present a total of 453,000 houses and workplaces to our earthquake-affected brothers by the end of the year," he stated.

"WHEN WE REACH A 'TERROR-FREE TURKEY', WE WILL EMBRACE A STRONGER FUTURE"

Stating that they have laid a more solid foundation for the steps taken in the fields of economy, foreign policy, and security with the 'terror-free Turkey' process, Erdoğan said, "After the organization decided to dissolve itself and lay down arms, we entered a new phase. With the prayers of our esteemed nation and the support of the political institution, we will hopefully free our country from a half-century-long calamity together in the near future. I want to emphasize this point particularly. We have never allowed any initiative that would disturb the souls of our martyrs or hurt the relatives of martyrs and veterans, and we will never allow it in the future. When we reach the destination of a terror-free Turkey, I believe we will embrace a much stronger and more effective future together," he said.

"HAPPY EID AL-ADHA"

Erdoğan concluded his message with the following words: "With these thoughts, I wish that Eid al-Adha will once again be a source of goodness for our country, our nation, and all humanity. I congratulate the holiday of all my citizens and every brother of mine in our heart geography and in different countries of the world once again. May Allah accept the prayers and worship of all our brothers who are in the holy lands to fulfill the pilgrimage duty. I especially urge all citizens who will set out to adhere strictly to traffic rules. I greet you once again with respect and love. I wish you all a blessed holiday. Happy Eid al-Adha."

CHP WILL NOT CELEBRATE WITH POLITICAL PARTIES

During Eid al-Adha, the Future Party will celebrate with 18, the Felicity Party with 17, the New Welfare Party with 15, and the Good Party with 14 political parties. However, the CHP will not celebrate with political parties this holiday, just as it did not during the previous Ramadan holiday. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated regarding the decision, "We are not on the list of political parties celebrating Eid because we announced our decision not to celebrate with any political party long ago. I congratulate the Eid al-Adha of our entire nation; we did not have a holiday. I do not wish for holidays that cannot come to any family, any party, or any structure. May the holiday of all of them, our entire nation, be blessed," he had said.
