Eu Energy Chief To Moscow For Gas Supply Talks

EU Energy commissioner Gunther Oettinger is to travel to Moscow Friday to warn Russia off straining energy relations between the EU and Russia, if Moscow does not ensure the EU an uninterrupted gas supply.



Oettinger will travel to Moscow for talks on gas supply to Ukraine and the EU with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, said the statement. 



He will make clear that the current situation will put a strain on the energy talks as the developments are contrary to the expectations from the recent summit in Minsk, the statement said, adding that these talks are of common interest for all sides, also for Ukraine.
