A criminal complaint has been filed against Mengiroğlu, who has not returned to Turkey for months and has not answered calls from creditors.
40-year-old actor Ceyhun Mengiroğlu left Turkey after taking loans from banks and the business world. While some people close to him claim that the actor went abroad to "rebuild his life," creditors describe this situation as a "planned escape."
CELEBRITIES FILED A COMPLAINT It has been learned that the actor, who was in the public eye due to allegations of fleeing to Bali with his wife during the summer months, has not entered Turkey since August 2025, and many individuals claiming to be his creditors have filed complaints against the famous actor.
Ceyhun Mengiroğlu COLLECTED MILLIONS AND SETTLED IN BALI It has been learned that Mengiroğlu, who started his acting career with the series 'Adı Mutluluk' released in 2015, took out loans from banks and used his entire credit card limit before leaving Turkey.
Additionally, the actor, who collected over 10 million lira in debts from various acquaintances, mostly from the series and film industry, has been found to have started a new life in Bali with this money. Following the filed complaints, an arrest warrant was issued for Mengiroğlu to take his statement, while it was determined that the actor, who has been outside Turkey for 6 months, completely cut off communication with his acquaintances and is not using his old phone line.
CLAIM THAT HE WILL BE DETAINED IF HE RETURNS TO TURKEY It is known that Mengiroğlu was born in Istanbul in 1986 and turned to modeling and acting after receiving education in Tourism and Hospitality. The actor, who was involved in multiple series and advertising projects during the peak of his career, had remained silent in recent months.
While no detailed statement has yet come from official authorities regarding the matter, the creditors' lawyers stated that "Mengiroğlu will be detained if he returns to Turkey."
