The flames quickly spread to 7 nearby factories, and the houses in the area were evacuated as a precautionary measure. The fire was brought under control thanks to the intense efforts of the teams.

A fire that started at a recycling factory in Bursa spread to 4 other factories in the area. Nearby houses were completely evacuated. Traffic police closed the entrance to Vakıfköy.

RAW MATERIALS IGNITED QUICKLY

According to the information received, a fire broke out at a recycling factory in Vakıfköy neighborhood in Yıldırım district, central Bursa, around 10:00. The raw materials ignited quickly and the flames grew. Firefighters from Bursa Metropolitan Municipality intervened in the fire, but the flames spread to the nearby paper, textile, and foam factories.

All the houses next to the factories were evacuated as a precaution. In addition to the riot police's water cannon vehicles, the irrigation tankers of Tarım Aş and the firefighting teams continue to intervene both from the ground and from a 40-meter ladder.
