At least 3,000 people were evacuated after a fire hit the Moscow Domodedovo International Airport on Thursday, Russia's Emergencies Ministry said.
According to the ministry, the fire affected about 20 square meters of the airport, which reportedly erupted in the baggage area.
Although the fire was put out immediately, about 3,000 passengers were evacuated due to heavy smoke. Flights were also delayed at the airport.
