Turkey's Fenerbahce drew against Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League's third qualifying round at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul on Tuesday evening.
Dutch forward Robin van Persie and Portuguese winger Nani had made their debut for Fenerbahce in the game.
Fenerbahce are still hopeful despite the draw on their home ground.
The second leg will be played on August 5 in the Ukrainian city of Lviv.
