Football: Turkish Super League Starts 8Th Week Of Season

Turkey's highest football division Spor Toto Super League's 8th week is starting on Friday.



The opening match of the week will be played between Galatasaray and Kasimpasa. The game at Turk Telekom Arena will kick off at 8 p.m. local time (1800GMT) in Turkey.



Meanwhile, Trabzonspor are going to play away against Akhisar Belediyespor on Saturday, The match will start at 7 p.m. local time (1700GMT).



Two Istanbulite archrivals, Besiktas and Fenerbahce, will meet in at Ataturk Olympic Stadium on Sunday. The clash of city rivals will kick off at 7 p.m. (1700GMT) local time.



Besiktas' Turkish winger Gokhan Tore --sent off last week-- is automatically banned, Fenerbahce's Portuguese centre-back Bruno Alves has also a red card suspension for the derby. Both players are ineligible for the game.
