Four Killed In Turkish Military Helicopter Crash

At least four killed in Turkish military helicopter crash in western Turkish city of İzmit Province. A Turkish military helicopter that took off from a İzmit military airport had disappeared on a routine flight to Konya province.

After long hours of searching it is determined that military helicopter ‘S-70B Sikorsky’ crashed in Kartepe hills in the Izmit province. The helicopter crash claimed four lives of four servicemen of Turkish armed forces.
The cause of the accident hasn’t been determined yet.

The Sikorsky helicopter had taken off from İzmit Cengiz Topel Airport at the Air Base Command at noon on Sunday to fly to Konya. However, it had disappeared off the military radar.
