Four Soldiers Killed İn East Ukraine Ongoing Clashes

At least four Ukrainian soldiers have lost their lives in ongoing operations against pro-Russians separatists within 24 hours in the east of Ukraine, according to Ukraine's National Security Council on Thursday.



Andrey Lysenko, spokesperson for Ukraine's National Security Council confirmed Ukraine Colonel Alexander Radievskiy was killed along with three other soldiers and 35 were injured in the city of Lysychansk in the Lugansk Oblast of southeastern Ukraine.



Alexander Radievskiy was awarded the Medal of Honor which is the highest military decoration by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on July 15.



Lysenko also announced that a Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was shot down Wednesday in the area of the anti-terrorist operation.



Separately, one person was killed and five people were injured during clashes between the army and separatists in the eastern Ukrainian city Lugansk, according to Lugansk city hall officials.



In addition, Provincial Health Directorate of Donetsk said that at least 432 people, including 36 women and six children were killed and 1015 wounded since March in Donetsk.
