"FOOTBALL GAVE ME EVERYTHING"
In the experienced footballer's statement, he said, "It is time for me to turn the page. After all these years of my professional career, I have put a period at this chapter of my life; my childhood dream has come true. Thank you, Dad and Mom, for giving me the opportunity to live my passion at the age of 13.
I have been blessed to sweat my values, to cut the most beautiful grass, to defend strong colors, and to share a locker room with incredible men and talents. Football gave me everything. It taught me toughness, determination, resilience, and self-transparency. At the same time, it gave me incredible emotions that I will never forget.
I would like to thank everyone who accompanied me on this journey: Thank you FC Nantes and Olympique Lyonnais for your trust. Thank you Galatasaray, Başakşehir FK, and Eyüpsor for welcoming me in your wonderful country. Thank you to all my coaches and trainers who shaped me. Thank you to the fans who supported me in good and bad times. And especially, thank you to my loved ones and managers who gave me love, patience, and strength during the toughest times.
Nothing was easy, but every step was important. And of course, I must not forget my greatest source of pride. Thank you EDF, I had the honor of proudly representing and loudly announcing the colors of our country. This journey was a struggle, and I lived it to the end with passion, dedication, and commitment. I am hanging up my boots, thank you football," he expressed.
