Georgian and Azerbaijani side discussed the issue of pipeline protection.

Georgian and Azerbaijani side discussed the issue of pipeline protection.



According to Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, delegation of Special protection Service of Azerbaijan visited the department for the protection of Strategic Pipelines of Special Emergency Measures center of Georgian MIA.



Special protection Service of Azerbaijan guards Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and South Caucasus Pipeline.



Georgian side familiarized the Azerbaijani delegation with innovations and changes in the sphere of protection of pipelines implemented in 2013. Innovations concerned communication system and work of digital appliances.



Within the frames of the visit, the sides discussed prospects for future co-operation.
