German President To Visit Turkey

German President Joachim Gauck will pay a 4-day long visit to Turkey at the invitation of President Abdullah Gul, TRT reported.



Guest President will pay a visit to German troops in Kahramanmarash on Sunday as well as the Syrian refugee camp in the city.



On Monday, April 28, German President Joachim Gauck will meet President Abdullah Gul in Ankara to discuss political and economic ties between Turkey and Germany. Also matters related to EU and international issues will come up in the meeting.



Guest President Gauck will also attend the official opening ceremony of Turkish-German University in Istanbul on Tuesday.
