Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis arrived in Ankara to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Mitsotakis, who landed at Esenboğa Airport, was welcomed by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. Mitsotakis then headed towards the Presidential Complex, where his meeting with President Erdoğan is expected to involve discussions on bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who will visit Turkey within the framework of the 6th High-Level Cooperation Council, has arrived in Ankara to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
HE SET OUT TOWARDS THE PRESIDENTIAL COMPLEX
After landing at Esenboğa Airport, Mitsotakis exited the airport. Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy also attended to welcome Mitsotakis. After the exit, Mitsotakis set off for the Presidential Complex to meet Erdoğan.
REGIONAL AND GLOBAL DEVELOPMENTS ON THE AGENDA
During the meeting between Erdoğan and Mitsotakis, it is expected that discussions will take place regarding bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments. Additionally, the signing of various texts aimed at strengthening bilateral relations is also on the agenda within the framework of the visit.
FIGHTING ILLEGAL MIGRATION WILL ALSO BE ON THE AGENDA
Another important topic for Athens is the cooperation with Turkey in combating illegal migration and the concrete developments achieved. Continuation of this cooperation is desired. Another targeted issue between Turkey and Greece is the trade volume at the level of 10 billion dollars. Today, an evaluation will be made among the ministers regarding the progress made towards this goal.
