Unidentified gunmen attacked a Houthi headquarters in Yemen's western Al-Hudayda city early Saturday, a security source has said.
The gunmen attacked a Houthi-held citadel in the city with machineguns and shells, triggering clashes with Houthi militants, according to the source.
No information is yet available on casualties.
The Shiite Houthi group has yet to comment on the report.
Yemen has been in turmoil since the Houthis overran capital Sanaa in September and have since advanced on other provinces.
