After the request for his expulsion from the CHP, Mersin Deputy Hasan Ufuk Çakır attended the AK Party Group Meeting. It was stated that Çakır's badge would be pinned by President Erdoğan today, while Çakır made his first statement with the words, "Neither a CHP member nor a Turkish nationalist recognizes an opposition party that complains to England and Germany."
After being referred to disciplinary action with a request for expulsion from the CHP, Mersin Deputy Hasan Ufuk Çakır attended the AK Party Group Meeting.
ERDOĞAN WILL PIN THE BADGE
It was stated that Çakır's joining the AK Party would take place today and that his badge would be pinned by President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
FIRST STATEMENT: WE CAME TO SERVE THE HOMELAND
Çakır, who attended the group meeting, made his first statement regarding the process of joining the AK Party with the following words:
"We came to serve the homeland. We came to stand against injustice, slander, and filth. Honest CHP voters do not follow slanderers. No CHP member or Turkish nationalist recognizes an opposition party that complains to England or Germany."
HE RESIGNED AFTER THE EXPULSION PROCESS IN CHP
Hasan Ufuk Çakır resigned from his party on December 9, 2025, following the decision of the CHP Central Executive Board to refer the request for his expulsion to the Party Assembly.
