The artist, who won hearts with his unforgettable songs like "Yalnızım," "Sırılsıklam," and "Canısı," passed away in 2017 due to a brain hemorrhage. On April 12, 2017, Erkal lost his balance and fell to the ground after his blood pressure dropped in the parking lot of his home, hitting his head and suffering a brain hemorrhage. He was taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, he lost his 29-day battle for life. The sudden death of the artist, who said goodbye to life at the age of just 50, left his fans in mourning; he left behind a grieving wife and three children.
