Ismail Gül, 45 years old, sends the products he manufactures in the factory he established in the textile sector, where he started working as a laborer at a young age, to 11 countries.
Gül, who went to İzmir at the age of 14 to find a job, worked as a worker in textile factories for 15 years. With the experience she gained, Gül decided to establish her own business in Muş and set up her dream factory in the Sungu district in 2022 with the investment incentive provided by the government.
SENDING TO 11 COUNTRIES
Gül, a father of two, sends the textile products produced in her factory, which employs 150 people, to 11 countries, primarily Germany, England, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Greece.
"WE PRODUCE 1,300 PANTS A DAY"
Gül told an AA reporter that they decided to make such an investment to benefit from government support and provide job opportunities for young people.
Stating that they have established a good business field, Gül noted:
"Our city has a significant young population. We continue our work through this young population. We export 60% of what we produce primarily to Germany, England, and France. We produce for leading organizations in Turkey. We also benefited from the incentives provided by the government. We are trying to create employment for our young people. In my factory, where I employ 150 people, we produce 1,300 pants a day. I worked as a worker in textile factories in İzmir for 15 years from a young age. After working for a long time, I learned the job and became the owner of my business in the factory I established in Muş with government support."
Hivda Aktan, who works in the factory, said, "My father works in construction, and my mother is a housewife. I am both studying and working in a textile factory. I continue my education with the money I earn. I have been working here for a year."
