In the Tuzla district of Istanbul, a car driven by a 14-year-old unlicensed driver hit Meral Bilgin Kaydan, who was sitting in front of her workplace. After an hour and a half of work, Kaydan was rescued from under the car, and it was learned that she had fractures in her waist. The unlicensed driver, who was taken into custody, was released afterward. The accident was captured by the security camera of the workplace.

TRAPPED UNDER THE CAR
Kaydan was trapped under the car while the driver and his friends, who got out of the vehicle, asked for help from bystanders. Upon notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters who arrived at the scene managed to rescue Kaydan, who was trapped under the car, after an hour and a half of work. It was learned that the injured person had fractures in her waist and various parts of her body while being taken to the hospital after the first intervention by the health teams at the scene.

After the incident, the unlicensed driver was released, while the moments before, during, and after the accident were captured on security cameras.
"I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A CHANCE TO ESCAPE"
The unfortunate woman, who suffered fractures in her waist, bruises on her legs, and contusions in various parts of her body due to the accident, recounted the horror moments she experienced. Meral Bilgin Kaydan, who said that they had a busy work schedule that day and was sitting on the bench to take a break, stated, "A few minutes had passed since I sat on the bench when I heard a loud noise. Before I could understand what was happening, I found myself under the car. I didn't even have a chance to escape. When I opened my eyes, I felt pressure on me, people were screaming, but I don't remember most of it. When the rescue teams arrived, my left side was completely numb. The car was on top of me, my neck was under the wheel. A crane and a digger came. It took them an hour and a half to get me out of there," she said.
"I HAVE FRACTURES IN MY BACK, SWELLINGS ON MY HEAD"
Kaydan, who stated that she was in great shock due to the accident, said about her health condition, "I have serious bruises on my right leg, and I am experiencing loss of strength. I have fractures in my back and bruises on my hip. There are swellings on the back of my head due to the impact. X-rays have been taken regarding this, and we are waiting for the clear results," she expressed. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
