THE HOUSES WILL CONSIST OF 2+1 AND 1+1 APARTMENTS
According to a statement from the ministry, 200,000 of the 500,000 houses to be built within the scope of the Century Housing Project will be 80 square meters 2+1, 150,000 will be 65 square meters 2+1, and the remaining 150,000 will consist of 55 square meters 1+1 apartments.
INSTALLMENTS WILL START FROM 6,750 TL
The prices of the houses and the installment amounts will vary in Istanbul and Anatolian provinces.
Accordingly, in Anatolia, 1+1 apartments will be sold for 1 million 800 thousand lira, 65 square meter 2+1s for 2 million 200 thousand lira, and 80 square meter 2+1s for 2 million 650 thousand lira. The installments will be 6,750 lira for 1+1 apartments, 8,250 lira for 65 square meter 2+1s, and 9,938 lira for 80 square meter 2+1s.
In Istanbul, 1+1 apartments will be sold for 1 million 950 thousand lira, 65 square meter 2+1s for 2 million 450 thousand lira, and 80 square meter 2+1s for 2 million 950 thousand lira. The installments for these houses will be 7,313 lira for 1+1s, 9,188 lira for 65 square meter 2+1s, and 11,063 lira for 80 square meter 2+1s.
DISTRIBUTION OF HOUSES BY PROVINCES
The distribution of the 500,000 houses to be built in 81 provinces within the scope of the "Century Housing Project," the largest social housing initiative in the history of the Republic, has been announced.
A total of 500,000 social houses will be implemented in Turkey's 81 provinces. In the project aimed at reducing housing prices, the number of houses was determined based on the population density of the provinces, rental increase rates, and housing demand.
In this context, the first five cities where the most houses will be built are recorded as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, and Konya.

APPLICATIONS WILL START ON NOVEMBER 10
The houses will be designed in 2+1 and 1+1 formats, suitable for horizontal architecture and traditional texture. Special quotas have been created in the project for the families of martyrs, veterans, disabled individuals, retirees, youth, and families with three or more children. Accordingly, families of martyrs, those with disabilities, and veterans will have a 5% quota, families with three or more children will have a 10% quota, and retirees and youth aged 18-30 will have a 20% quota. Anyone who is at least 18 years old, has been a citizen of the Republic of Turkey for at least 10 years, and does not own a house registered in their name, their spouse's name, or their children's names can apply for the project.
For application, the monthly net income of the household must not exceed 145,000 lira for Istanbul and 127,000 lira for other provinces. The sale price of the houses will start from 1 million 800 thousand lira. These houses will be offered for sale with a 10% down payment and a 240-month term under state guarantee. The installments will start from 7,313 lira in Istanbul and 6,750 lira in other provinces. Applications for the project will be accepted between November 10 and December 19. The construction and tender process will begin in November, and the first draws will be held in December. The delivery of the houses is planned to start in March 2027.
