Militants affiliated with the Shiite Houthi group on Saturday blew up the premises of the Muslim Brotherhood's Al-Islah Party in the southern province of Lahij, a party leader has said.
He added that Houthi militants planted explosives inside the house of Mohamed Zain, a senior party leader from the southern province.
"They also arrested two people who were inside the house," the leader told The Anadolu Agency.
AA could not immediately obtain comments from the Houthi group.
Positions of the Shiite Houthi group have been the target of attacks by warplanes from countries participating in a Saudi-led coalition against the group since March 26.
On Tuesday, the command of the Saudi-led coalition said it would suspend operations at the request of embattled Yemeni President ABD Rabbuh Mansour Hadi.
Nevertheless, coalition warplanes continued to pound Houthi positions across Yemen in the following days.
Yemen has been in turmoil since 2011 when a popular uprising forced ex-President Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down a year later.
In September of 2014, the Houthis controlled capital Sanaa and moved on to extend their control in other provinces.
