HRC, Platinum Sponsor And Co-Organizer Of "Baku HR Experience"

Trend: Senior HR specialists and global-level consultants representing companies such as Gazprom, Coca-Cola, Statoil, Cargill or British Telecom gathered together at the event to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the HR field. The event took place on the 4th and 5th of November at the Four Seasons Hotel.



The "Baku HR Experience" was organized by P World Azerbaijan and the partners of the event were HRC (Platinum Sponsor), Nar Mobile (Gold Sponsor) and PASHA Bank (Employer of Choice).



The conference is the first international HR event to ever be organized in Azerbaijan and was attended by 180 participants from Azerbaijan and Georgia



In the opening of the event, Jamila Bayramova, the General Manager of HRC, greeted the participants and spoke about the importance of the event. Yegana Mammadova, Chief HR & Organizational Development Officer of The HR Company (HRC) spoke next about the past and the future of the HR field. In regards to the challenges of finding good HR specialists and good employees, Mrs. Mammadova highlighted the existing opportunities in the field of education and training.



Matanat Babayeva, the HR Director of Azerfon, spoke about the HR strategy of Nar Mobile in Azerbaijan and about the policies that make the company a great place to work.



The conference also hosted the first "Excellence in HR Awards" ceremony in Azerbaijan. HR teams and specialists from the market were awarded for their efforts in the field. BP Azerbaijan won the "Best HR Team of the Year Award" for large companies; Amrahbank received the "Best HR Team of the Year Award" for mid-sized companies, while Konul Akberova, Group HR Director for AtaHolding was selected as the "Best HR Person of the Year".
