In Iğdır, a person stabbed a 16-year-old girl in the abdomen while walking on the street. After being taken into custody, the attacker was arrested by the court he was brought before and stated in his testimony that he did not know the injured girl, saying, "I left home in the morning. I said, 'I need to stab someone.' While walking down the street, I stabbed the girl who came in front of me."
Yesterday morning, a 23-year-old named Y.B. stabbed a 16-year-old girl named D.B. in the abdomen while walking on Cumhuriyet Street in Iğdır.
HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL
Upon the notification of the surrounding people, D.B. was taken to Iğdır Dr. Nevruz State Hospital by the ambulance that arrived. It was reported that D.B., who underwent surgery, is continuing treatment and her health condition is improving.
HE WAS ARRESTED
Y.B., who was caught as a result of the investigation carried out by the Iğdır Police Department's Public Order Branch Homicide Bureau and the Iğdır Şehit Bülent Yurtseven Police Station teams, was taken into custody. After completing the procedures at the police station, Y.B. was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the Peace Criminal Court for the crime of 'attempted murder.'
HIS STATEMENT SHOCKED
It was reported that Y.B. stated he did not know the injured child and in his statement, he said, "I left home in the morning. I said, 'I need to stab someone.' While walking on the road, I stabbed the girl who came in front of me."
