The investigation, conducted by the Torre Annunziata Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is centered around allegations of illegal construction and the illegal disposal of hazardous waste. As part of the investigation, six people, including some of the footballer's relatives, have been charged with "unauthorized construction and irregularities in hazardous waste management." Teams from the Torre del Greco Gendarmerie Command and municipal police implemented the preventive seizure order issued by the court at the request of the prosecutor's office.
