An Israeli spy named Mohammad Emin Mahdavi Sheyesteh, who was identified as collaborating with MOSSAD in Iran and was arrested at the end of 2023, has been executed. With Sheyesteh's execution, the number of spies executed since the beginning of the war has risen to three.

As the 11th day of the war that is unsettling the world continues with intense clashes, Iran has executed an Israeli spy identified as collaborating with MOSSAD.

ARRESTED 2 YEARS AGO

Semi-official Tasnim and Fars news agencies reported that Mohammad Emin Mahdavi Shayesteh, who was found guilty of collaborating with the Israeli intelligence agency MOSSAD, has been executed. Shayesteh, described by Tasnim as "the head of a cyber team linked to Mossad," was arrested in late 2023.

AT LEAST 3 OTHERS HAVE BEEN EXECUTED

Since Israel began attacking Iran on June 13, Iranian officials have executed at least three people convicted of espionage for Israel. One was executed in the early hours of June 16, while the second suspect was executed on July 22.

The allegations against the suspects have not been independently verified. Human rights organizations frequently condemn the executions of suspects in Iran and the lack of due process in trials.
