A ceasefire has begun in the Israel-Iran war that has been ongoing for 12 days. The words of an Iranian woman, who stated that opposing the regime does not mean supporting attacks against her country, have become a topic of discussion. The Iranian woman said, "We may not love or support the regime in Iran. But that doesn't mean you, as Israel or America, can come and strike. It's like a family matter."
On the 12th day of the Israel-Iran war, a ceasefire began. Just minutes before the ceasefire, a new missile attack was launched from Iran to Israel. While state television announced that the ceasefire had started, a statement from Iran said, "Israel started it, we finished it. We dealt the final blow to Israel." Netanyahu also accepted the ceasefire. U.S. President Trump called for adherence to the ceasefire. With the ceasefire decision, it was expected that tensions in the Middle East would come to an end, while the words of an Iranian woman shared in a video on social media became a topic of discussion.
"WE MAY NOT LIKE THE REGIME, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN COME AND STRIKE"
The Iranian woman clearly expressed that despite her dissatisfaction with the current regime in her country, she does not support attacks from powers like Israel and America, saying:
"We may not like the regime in Iran, we may not support it. But that doesn't mean you come as a foreigner, as Israel, as America, and strike. We do not support that. It's like a family issue. When you have problems with your family, when you are angry with them, do you want a foreigner to come and hit them? Of course not. It's Iran, you know, Iran. And they are trying to pull the people to their side. They say they are doing it for us, that they will save us... Since when have you been thinking about anyone other than yourself?"
