The Turkish Employment Agency has announced the most sought-after professions for the month of April. After the unemployment rate dropped to single digits, there was curiosity about which job categories were in demand. According to the released data, the professions with the highest job vacancies were identified as tourism and hospitality staff, private security personnel, and shelf attendants.

122 THOUSAND PEOPLE WERE PLACED IN JOBS IN APRIL
According to İŞKUR's data, the professions with the highest demand for personnel have been identified. Additionally, in April, a total of 122,271 people were placed in jobs through İŞKUR, of which 78,579 (%64.3) were men and 43,692 (%35.7) were women. In the January-April period of 2025, 437,291 job placements were facilitated.

When examining the January-April period, the highest job placements in the 2025 period were in the manufacturing sector of the industrial sector. By profession, the most job placements were made in the following order: "Tourism and Hospitality Staff," "Unarmed Security Personnel," and "Shelf Staff."

According to the report prepared from İŞKUR's April data, the number of open jobs was 210,116. In the January-April period, 743,951 open jobs were recorded. Almost all of the open jobs were from the private sector. By sector, the highest number of open jobs was in the manufacturing industry. The most open jobs were in the professions of "Unarmed Security Personnel," "Tourism and Hospitality Staff," and "Shelf Staff."
