Israel Detains 12 Palestinians İn W. Bank Raids

Israeli army forces rounded up 12 Palestinians in overnight raids in the occupied West Bank.



According to Israel's Channel 7, the raids targeted Palestinians wanted by Israeli authorities.



The detainees have been turned over to Israel's security agencies for interrogation, the broadcaster said.



The Israeli army has yet to comment on the report.



Early Thursday, Israeli forces detained Palestinian female lawmaker Khalida Jarrar from her home in the West Bank city of Ramallah.



Israeli forces routinely conduct arrest campaigns against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on claims they are "wanted" by Israeli authorities.



Over 7,000 Palestinians are currently languishing in Israeli prisons, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs.
