The Israeli army detained four Palestinians in overnight raids across the occupied West Bank, eyewitnesses said Sunday.
Israeli army forces conducted raids in the northern West Bank town of Burin where they detained a Palestinian man after searching his home, according to witnesses.
Three other Palestinians were detained in Israeli raids in Hebron and Aroub refugee camp in the south, they added.
Israeli forces routinely launch arrest campaigns against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on the pretext that they are "wanted" by the Israeli authorities.
Over 7,000 Palestinians are currently languishing in prisons throughout Israel, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs.
