An Israeli vehicle was torched on Monday after being struck by a Molotov cocktail in the West Bank city of Nablus, eyewitnesses have said.
According to witnesses, unidentified individuals hurled a petrol bomb at the vehicle in Hawara village in Nablus.
The Israeli army has since deployed forces to the area and has launched a manhunt for the attackers.
Recent months have seen an uptick in violence in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories that have left several deaths and injuries – on both sides – in their wake.
Several Israelis have been killed or wounded amid a rise in Palestinian attacks on Israelis.
Israeli forces, meanwhile, have continued their attacks on Palestinians and their land in the occupied territories, leaving a number of dead and wounded.
