The İstanbul 20th High Criminal Court has accepted an indictment prepared by prosecutors in the Dec. 17 graft investigation that has implicated four former Cabinet ministers and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's close associates.
Police raided dozens of addresses, detained a number of suspects, including sons of three ministers, well-known businessmen and a manager of a state-run bank as part of the investigation into allegations of rigging in public tenders and bribery.
The first hearing in the trial will be held in November, officials said. (Today's Zaman/Cihan)
