"SIRRI SÜREYYA ÖNDER'S ILLNESS HAS SADDENED US ALL"
Key points from Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç's statements are as follows; "Sırrı Süreyya Önder's illness has deeply saddened us all. Doctors express that his condition is better than the previous day. Hopefully, he will recover soon. We had an appointment scheduled with the DEM Party for tomorrow. We postponed this due to Mr. Sırrı Süreyya's illness. Our only wish is for him to join us as soon as possible. His conciliatory personality was making positive contributions to this process. Learning that he is better than yesterday is a pleasing development for us.
"WORK IS UNDERWAY ON THE PENAL EXECUTION REGULATION"
There are regulations reflected in the public. Our Ministry of Interior has a study regarding traffic fines. There will be regulations in the judicial package regarding elements we call urban bandits, which do not cut in traffic. There have been events that drew reactions due to the precaution of detention. There is no pardon in question, it is not on our agenda. The regulations are related to the conditions in prisons. There are certain issues regarding convicts over a certain age. The claim that 55 thousand people will be pardoned is not true," he said.
CLAIM OF APPOINTING A TRUSTEE TO CHP
Speaking about the investigation initiated against CHP's congress, Minister Tunç stated, "Last night, there were misleading posts on social media aimed at deceiving the public. These are not true. It is not possible for judges to share what they will do with these. These posts are intended for disinformation. There may be a situation where these posts harm the economy. It is not right to make a series of statements in advance. If such a post occurs, the prosecutors get involved," he expressed.
