Libya's national carrier said Sunday that it would resume its flights between capital Tripoli and Algiers.
The flights will be resumed as of Tuesday, according to Mohamed Busaada, the spokesperson of Libyan Airlines.
He told The Anadolu Agency that the decision was taken after a visit to Algeria by an airlines delegation during which the members of the delegation agreed with Algerian authorities on the resumption of the flights.
Busaada said there would be two flights between Algiers and Tripoli every week.
Algeria's airspace was closed to Libya for almost four years now.
Libya has been in turmoil since a bloody uprising ended the autocracy of late ruler Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
