Emergency Medical Technician Öznur Bolat, who is stationed in Osmaniye, saved the life of 29-year-old hydrocephalus patient E.A., who had a plum lodged in his throat, by guiding his mother N.A., who called the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following Bolat's instructions, N.A. performed the Heimlich maneuver, successfully dislodging the plum from her son's throat. Those moments were recorded by the call center.

Mother N.A., who lives in the village of Kırıklı in Osmaniye, called the 112 Emergency Call Center when she noticed that her 29-year-old child E.A., who suffers from hydrocephalus, could not breathe at 11:00 PM on Wednesday, June 23.

The emergency medical technician Öznur Bolat, who answered the call from the Osmaniye Provincial Ambulance Service Chief Physician's Training Unit, maintained her calm thanks to her training and experience and guided the mother on the Heimlich maneuver.
