The exchange rate's increase of approximately 4.5 TL in one year indicates that the Manat has strengthened against the TL.
THE SYMBOL RESEMBLES THE EURO
The symbol of the Azerbaijani Manat resembles the Euro symbol (€) with a single line in the middle facing downwards. The designer of the Azerbaijani Manat is Austrian Robert Kalina. This designer is also the one who designed the Euro and the Syrian Pound. Therefore, it is said that the selection of motifs on the banknotes is inspired by the Euro, resulting in similarities.
