The Turkey branch of America's Make-A-Wish Foundation, Bir Dilek Tut Derneği, in İstanbul, will launch a project at a shopping mall this week to bring together more than 30 artists who will realize the wishes of sick children.
A total of 36 Turkish artists, including sculptors, painters, photographers and video artists, will exhibit their works at the Astoria shopping mall in İstanbul's Şişli district as part of the project “Benimle Oynar Mısın?” (Will You Play With Me?) from Oct. 24 to 30.
The participating artists will exhibit their works, grouped around the theme “game[s] and toy[s],” at the showcase, which will open to raise money for patients aged from 3 to 18, the organizers announced in a press release this week. The exhibition will continue until Oct. 30.
Curated by Günseli Toker, İldem Arabacıoğlu and Hakan Kürklü, “Benimle Oynar Mısın?” includes works by Adil Gültekin, Mediha Aşkın, Lale Acun, Seray Vural and Yiğit Gülo Arslan.
