Man Commits Suicide After Killing Ex-Fiancé, Father-In-Law In Western Turkey

A man committed suicide after he shot to death his ex-fiancé and father-in-law in the western province of Manisa’s Kırkağaç district on Thursday.

Reportedly, Özgür Çoban followed vehicle in which his ex-fiancé and her parents were. On the road Çoban stopped their car and forced them to get off the vehicle. The man suddenly shot at his ex-fiancé, Özlem Yener and her father with a pump-rifle, leaving them dead at the scene. Shortly after, the man killed himself with the same gun. Police and medical staff were dispatched to the scene over calls from the locals. Mother, Şennur Yener had nervous attack over the incident.

Police launched an investigation into the incident.
