Man Puts Old-Style Volkswagen Beetle On A Roof To Attract Attention

Melih Öztürk, 36 year-old a cafeteria owner put his Volkswagen beetle brand old car to his working place’s roof both to attract people attention to his cafeteria and take these old style cars under protection.

“When people saw such a practice they astonished very much indeed,” said Öztürk, who has a cafeteria on Kapuz Streets in Yayla Neighborhood located in northern Turkish province of Zonguldak, added also ‘putting a car on a roof’ is a strange decision taken with his business partner.

Historical Volkswagen beetle amazes people also attract the clients to cafeteria. Products of the cafeteria are serviced in another old brand Volkswagen settled in the middle of the garden of the cafeteria.

“I am also a member of Volkswagen Solidarity Foundation of Zonguldak. In fact, as an organization, we had decision aiming designing cafeteria in which these old brand cars would be used. We substantiated our decision to feature old-style Wolkswagen and take these cars under protection,” noted Öztürk.

“When people saw our working place they take photos in front of it. People reactions are very nice. One week passed since we located the car on a roof but at least 100 people called me and described their contentions. 80 out 100 cars gear down and take the photo of our new style cafeteria which proves how we made a good thing. We also wanted to prove that our action is not carrying commercial act but also visual quality,” added Melih Öztürk.

Şerife Cesur, business partner of Öztürk said that her business partner is a fan of old-style Volkswagen beetle and this opinion firstly developed by him. “When people realize the old Volkswagen beetle on a roof they amazes very much indeed. It attracted very big attention. People taking photo when they see this cafeteria, noted Cesur.
