Journalist Candaş Tolga Işık, who wanted to invite the family of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death at the age of 15, to his program, announced that he received threats to prevent the broadcast of the program. Işık stated, "They are threatening me to not make the program. It doesn't bother me at all."
Journalist and television presenter Candaş Tolga Işık announced that he will host the family of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death at the age of 15, in this week's episode of his program 'I Just Talked'.
THREATS TO CANDAŞ TOLGA IŞIK, WHO WILL BRING MATTIA AHMET MINGUZZI'S FAMILY TO THE PROGRAM
However, Işık noted in his announcement on social media that he received threats to prevent the broadcast of the program. In his post, Işık stated, "They are threatening me to not do the program. It doesn't matter. This gang, which criminalizes children under 18 and then turns them into crime machines, is trying to intimidate anyone involved in the Minguzzi case," he said.
"WHY IS THE PUBLIC SECURITY BRANCH LOOKING AT THIS FILE, WHICH IS AN ORGANIZED CRIME GANG?"
Stating that the Minguzzi family has been placed under protection against threats, Işık said, "Protection has been provided for the mother, father, and aunt. Why is the public security branch looking at this file, which is clearly an organized crime gang? They are operating crime from a city in Anatolia to all of Turkey, throwing threats around; can there be a more organized crime?" he called on the authorities.
"THE GANG IS GROWING WITH THE CRIMES THEY MAKE CHILDREN COMMIT"
Işık continued his post by drawing attention to the organized crime structure, stating, "They make children under 18 commit small crimes with money and drugs to make them gang members. Due to their age, children receive lighter sentences. Meanwhile, the gang is growing with the crimes they make children commit, showing off and making profits through threats and blackmail," he said.
"THE SITUATION WILL GET EVEN MORE TERRIFYING"
Emphasizing the need for urgent legal changes, Işık stated, "'If legal changes are not made urgently against these structures called 'New Generation Crime Organizations', the situation will become even more terrifying. There cannot be a child who stabs a person five times in the heart and kills them!" he said.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On January 24, Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi went to the market in Kadıköy Hasanpaşa neighborhood with his friends to buy skateboarding equipment, where a dispute occurred between him and B.B. and U.B. While trying to leave the market, Minguzzi was stabbed by B.B. and kicked on the ground by U.B. Severely injured, Minguzzi was taken to the hospital after the intervention of health teams, while the two fleeing suspects were caught and arrested. Minguzzi passed away in the hospital on February 9, while the trial of the two arrested perpetrators is ongoing.
