Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya commented on the PKK terrorist organization's decision to disband and lay down arms, stating, "A new era has now begun. From now on, words will speak, not weapons. Fear will not grow; hope will. With God's permission, we will build the Century of Turkey on a future free from terrorism."
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, in a video message shared on his social media account, made evaluations regarding the decision of the terrorist organization PKK to disband and lay down arms.

Emphasizing that they are the people of these lands, united under the same flag and the same call to prayer, regardless of being Turkish, Kurdish, Laz, or Circassian, Yerlikaya stated, "We stood shoulder to shoulder in Malazgirt, we were in the same trench in Çanakkale, we faced the enemy floods together during the National Struggle. The root of our brotherhood is very deep. For years, our unity and togetherness have been targeted. No matter what anyone does, no matter what game they play, they could not break this bond, and they will not be able to." he evaluated.

Minister Yerlikaya, drawing attention to the significant development in a "Terror-Free Turkey" under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the resolute stance of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, stated: "The terrorist organization has declared that it has disbanded and laid down its arms. A Terror-Free Turkey is a victory of faith in peace and brotherhood. The owner of this victory is our nation. Its guarantee is our unity. I thank everyone who supported this historic process with their prayers, courage, dignity, and who have nurtured our brotherhood. A new era has now begun. Now words will speak, not weapons. Hope will grow, not fear. With God's permission, we will build the Century of Turkey on a future free of terror. Because we are one, because we are Turkey."
Yerlikaya stated that he commemorates the noble martyrs who gave their lives for the homeland with mercy, gratitude, and respect, expresses his gratitude to the heroic veterans, and honors the families of the martyrs with reverence.
