MIT President Kalın's Visit to Political Parties for a Terror-Free Turkey

The President of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), İbrahim Kalın, is visiting political parties with representation in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) regarding the process related to the efforts for a Terror-Free Turkey. Kalın is having his first meeting with the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli.

Efforts for a Terror-Free Turkey have reached the final stages regarding the commission planned to be established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). MIT President İbrahim Kalın is visiting the political parties with groups in the Assembly before the commission is established. As part of the visits that will start today, Kalın is expected to meet with the group leaders and deputy group leaders of the AK Party, CHP, DEM Party, MHP, İYİ Party, and Yeni Yol Party.

In this context, the meeting between Kalın and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli has begun.

Kalın is expected to meet with AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala and AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler at 14:00. İbrahim Kalın will also visit the DEM Party Parliamentary Group at 15:30. On Thursday, July 24, Kalın will meet with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.
