German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund's 25-year-old Armenian attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be ruled out for 4 weeks due to foot injury, the club announced Sunday.
According to a statement made on the club's official website, Mkhitaryan suffered an injury in his right foot in the 90th minute of the league match against Mainz 05 on Saturday.
Club doctor Markus Braun said that Mkhitaryan would be unable to play for nearly 4 weeks.
Aside from the Armenian international, Marco Reus, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Ilkay Gundogan, Nuri Sahin and Oliver Kirch are on a lengthy injury list for coach Jurgen Klopp.
