Moroccan and Spanish authorities have arrested 10 people suspected of recruiting and sending fighters to the Islamic State (IS) group, the Moroccan Interior Ministry announced Sunday. In a joint operation, six people were arrested in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, while their four partners in Toledo, Valencia, and the outskirts of Barcelona in Spain, the ministry said in a statement. It revealed that one of the suspects is a former prisoner on charges of terrorism in Italy, and another is a Portuguese national. This operation comes a month after 14 IS recruiters were arrested, 13 of whom in Morocco and one in Spain. Morocco has busted several IS-linked groups this year, and arrested dozens of suspects.
