Five people were killed and 15 others were wounded Saturday in several attacks that rocked Baghdad.
A police captain told The Anadolu Agency, on condition of anonymity, that a civilian was killed when an improvised explosive device planted under his car went off in al-Azamiyah area in northern Baghdad. The victim was an employee at the Sunni Foundation.
Meanwhile, two civilians were killed and seven others were injured when another IED exploded near a health center in Jisr Diyala al-Qadim area in southeastern Baghdad, police said.
A third IED that was placed in a minibus killed two passengers and wounded eight others after exploding in the Bab al-Sharqi area in central Baghdad.
Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi had lifted Baghdad's eight-year curfew on Feb. 7, citing "improved security conditions."
