National table tennis player Ece Haraç completed the Bundesliga 1 League as champions with her team TTC 1946 Weinheim. With this victory, Ece Haraç made history as the first Turkish female table tennis player to win a championship in Bundesliga 1.
Yalova Belediyespor altyapısında yetişen, Türkiye'nin önemli kulüplerinde forma giymiş milli masa tenisçi Ece Haraç, Almanya'da büyük bir başarıya imza attı.
ECE SARAÇ ALMANYA'DA ŞAMPİYON OLDU
Despite her young age, Ece, who has made a name for herself in gold letters both in Turkey and Europe, became one of the key players of the TTC 1946 Weinheim team, which finished the 2024–2025 season as champions of the German Women's Table Tennis 1st League (Bundesliga).
Weinheim won its first championship in history by defeating its strong rival TTC Berlin Eastside 2-0 in the final series. In the first match of the series, Tung-Chuan Chien and Yuan Wan overcame their Berlin opponents with a score of 3-1; in the second match, Ece Haraç and Mateja Jeger defeated the duo of Sabina Surjan and Josephina Neumann 3-2, declaring the championship.
FIRST TURKISH WOMAN TABLE TENNIS PLAYER
With her consistent and high-level performance throughout the season, Ece Haraç made history as the first Turkish woman table tennis player to win a championship in Bundesliga 1 with this victory. The national athlete, who made a significant contribution to her team with her courage, composure, and impressive gameplay in the final series, once again brought Yalova's name to the international arena.
The experienced players of TTC 1946 Weinheim, Tung-Chuan Chien, Yuan Wan, and Mateja Jeger, also played a significant role in the championship with their performance in the final. Ece and her teammates experienced great joy as they lifted the championship trophy during the ceremony held at the end of the match.
