New Deputy Chairman Of Turkmenistan's Oil Concern Appointed

Dovletdurdy Hajiyev has been appointed the deputy chairman of Turkmenistan’s Turkmennebit (Turkmenoil) state concern in accordance with the decree of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Dovletdurdy Hajiyev has been appointed the deputy chairman of Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit (Turkmenoil) state concern in accordance with the decree of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.



The activity of Turkmennebit state concern covers over 600 oil, oil and gas and gas fields that are at different stages of development. The fields that have been recently developed, include Chekishler, Garadurun, South Kamyshlyja, Nebitlije located in the west of the country.



During the years of independence, the concern has managed to increase oil production from five million tons to eight million tons per year, while the annual gas production has reached 11.600 billion cubic meters.
