The investigation into the death of the artist Güllü, who fell from the window of her apartment on the 5th floor in the Çınarcık district of Yalova, is ongoing. Her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, provided a new statement to the prosecutor's office, saying, "I had no feud with my mother; she once said, 'If you come home, I will press the KADES button.'"
The investigation into the famous artist Güllü, who lost her life after falling from the window of her apartment on the 5th floor in the Çınarcık district of Yalova, is ongoing. In relation to the incident, Güllü's daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter and Sultan Nur Ulu, who was present in the house on the night of the incident, were summoned to the prosecutor's office, and both individuals provided statements again.
In her statement, Gülter mentioned that there was no ongoing serious feud between her and her mother, and that domestic disputes occurred from time to time, as in other families. Gülter recounted: "I have no feud with my mother. Like in every household, we would have mother-daughter arguments from time to time. But we continued to live in the same house. Our surroundings can attest to this. When my mother and I argued occasionally, we would say such things to each other in anger. My mother was particularly someone who got angry when she drank alcohol. When she got angry, she didn't know what she was saying.
"DON'T COME HOME, I DON'T WANT YOU" When she said hurtful or threatening words, I would get angry too. I sent messages like 'I will kill my mother, I will kill myself' to a friend of mine to share my emotional state. One day, when we were fighting, my mother called me. Under the influence of alcohol, she said, 'Don't come home, I don't want you, if you come, I will press KADES, I will kill you.' Sometimes we would say such things to each other in anger."
"TORTURE ALLEGATIONS ARE FALSE" Gülter denied the allegations that her mother was tortured by her and her brother; she stated that on the night of the incident, her mother was very drunk, came into the room to play with them, and later, while playing facing the window next to the wardrobe, she heard a "thud" and when she turned around, she saw that her mother had fallen. The prosecutor's office conducting the investigation has taken witness statements to clarify all aspects of the incident; the examination of evidence and findings at the scene is ongoing. While judicial proceedings are continuing in the investigation conducted by the public prosecutor's office, it has been learned that medical and forensic reports regarding the exact cause of death and the circumstances of the incident are awaited.
