Norway is the latest nation to announce its support for the fight against ISIL, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
Norway will send five officers to help the U.S.-led coalition in planning military operations against ISIL militants, Norwegian Defense Minister Ine Eriksen Soreide said.
The officers would contribute to the development of strategy for the international coalition, according to the Norway Post.
Norway sent troops to Afghanistan and contributed to airstrikes on Libya in 2011.
