Oklahoma City Thunder's Kanter Sets New Career Record

Enes Kanter, the Turkish center for NBA team Oklahoma City Thunder, has set a new career record by scoring 30 points and taking 16 rebounds against the Dallas Mavericks.



Despite Enes' "double double" at Chesapeake Energy Arena, home team Thunder lost against visitors Mavericks 135-131 on Wednesday.



Meanwhile, Enes Kanter's teammate Russell Westbrook made a "triple double". 



One of MVP nominees, Westbrook tallied 31 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.



Another Thunder guard, Anthony Morrow, scored 32 points.



However their performances were not enough to take victory at home.



Top scorer



Oklahoma City Thunder took their 33th loss out of 75 games.



Receiving their 46th win of the regular season, Mavericks' Monta Ellis was his team's top scorer with 26 points.



He was followed by small forward Chandler Parsons with 22 points.



Mavericks' experienced players Amar'e Stoudemire and Dirk Nowitzki scored 18 points each and Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo tallied 10 points.



Mavericks veteran Nowitzki went down in NBA history, as the German power became the 7th player to score 28,000 points in NBA.
