One worker has been saved from a private mine in Turkey's north after a collapse there trapped three Chinese workers on Saturday, according to local officials.
Shouping Sun, 40, was rescued by his co-workers from the mine, located in the Black Sea province of Bartin, and was carried to hospital, Bartin Governor Seyfettin Azizoglu told the AA.
He said that the accident occurred during the construction of a gallery.
No information on Sun's condition has been revealed. The search and rescue operation continues for Maoshun Yang, 38, and Shouje Sun, 37, who remain trapped underground, Governor Azizoglu added.
